The Lodge: Studio Apt 1

This bright and cosy ground-floor studio apartment is the perfect place to stay when visiting Guernsey. With a spacious open-plan layout that sleeps up to 4 guests and a large private terrace with 5 acres of beautiful gardens to view and wonder! Located in Guernsey's Castel Parish, which is well known for its Historic attractions, WWII Bunkers and the best Beaches on Guernsey! This Apartment is also semi-detached to the Le Pommier Boutique Hotel, Restaurant & Bar. The apartment is approximately 360 square ft, and the large terrace is an additional 290 square ft. This apartment benefits from a modern fitted Kitchen with an electric hob, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and tea/coffee-making facilities. A moderately sized, disabled-friendly bathroom with a self-lit mirror cabinet and a separate shower and bath. One king-sized bed, one full sofa bed, 32" smart TV, an Integrated electric heater/air-conditioner, built-in wardrobe space, and Fast Wifi! Everything you need is within walking distance, and there is a bus stop opposite to take you anywhere else on the island, as well as plenty of parking if you have a Car. We have a full self-check-in process, but assistance is available if required. Our House is semi-detached to the apartment and can be accessed via the apartments Fire Door in-case of emergency. If you need assistance with anything please call the contact number provided with your welcome basket. If there is anything else you require or would like know do not hesitate to ask, as we will most likely have it next door. Guernsey is a charming, relaxed and safe place, and Castel is one of its most celebrated Parishes. Many old WWII bunkers dotted around the coastline, and we highly recommend Fort Hommet. The beaches are the best on the Island, such as Cobo Beach, just a 15-minute walk. Cobo is also excellent for dinner as you watch the sunset over the ocean. There are also lots of sports nearby, with the Aztec sports centre and Guernsey Table Tennis Club next door. Fancy surfing? Head down to Vazon Bay only 10mins by car. Guernsey's large tidal range means we get some of the best waves in Europe. The delightful Le Pommier Hotel built in 1712 next door, also offers excellent facilities. Five acres of gardens, an outdoor pool area to enjoy, and a highly regarded restaurant and bar attract people from all over the Island! There is a bus stop just 1 minute's walk away that provides easy access to St Peter Port and other significant areas of the island. We also have plenty of parking at the hotel. We, your hosts, and our friendly Springer Spaniel(Kirk) live next door to the Apartment. We will not disturb you during your stay but will always assist you if needed.
